As I was passing around Hagley park, I came across a protest of TPPA. This is called the Trans-pacific partnership agreement where the GDP would be dependent on the other countries involved. As a result, I learned that my friend from my Kapa Haka group was in it. She was one of the political activist within this protest. In addition to this agreement, I realized that the US was also involved with the acts as well. Therefore also impacts me as well. A lot of locals worry about how much control the agreement will give over the New Zelanders. Therefore putting the entire economy of the country in danger. The full link of the protest is above.
